July 27th, 2007

BeowulfThe critics are still out on this one. While i love the story of Beowulf, the CG looks underwhelming. In my personal opinion, this should have been done as live action with the help of CG. Watch the trailer here, and let me know what you think!

Great work Crtomir, thank you for the submission. If you’d like to see more of Crtomirs work, goto http://choerte.cgsociety.org/gallery/

New Image: Hellfire Widow

June 24th, 2007

hellfire_widow.jpgA Big thanks to Zoltan Korcsok for our latest submission. Believe it or not, this is not a photograph. This digitally created image, pays amazing attention to detail. From the tiny hairs on the legs, to the light reflecting off the carapice, to the distressed look of the twig, this piece of art is truly amazing. It is so good that is gives me the creeps, but that is just because I have a fear of spiders. *shudder* You can check out all of Zoltan’s work at http://trurl.cgsociety.org/gallery/
